日本の旅行の買い物

As usual, after my holiday posts comes my purchases post. And nope, I didn't display everything here... :p

Delicious Japanese snacks. Henry took orders for these from us and they were delivered to our hotel on the last day.

Other snacks bought from souvenir stores, convenience stores, petro kiosks etc. The Japanese are so amazing! All these are perfectly gift-wrapped in pretty papers and piled neatly one on top of the other. But for every kind, there will be a mock display of how the desserts or snacks actually looked like, in a plastic casing!

Cho and me bought the Green Tea Kit-Kat from Narita Airport on our last day. The cute blue packaging is preserved cuttlefish from Asahiyama zoo. The longish packet is dried baby crabs (cruel I know :(, but Dad likes crabs) and the brownish stuff is the most delicious gingerbread from the Christmas fair at the Hokkaido Clock Tower.

Hello Kitty snacks from Narita Airport

白い こいびと chocolates!

Red bean and sesame snacks

Sake and sake cups from the sake brewery

Asahi beer bread and beer chocolates from the brewery. The mini bottle of Asahi beer is from a souvenir store

Tea in nice packaging from the Chitose Factory Outlet Mall

Doggie snacks for my dearies!

My assortment of Disneyland accessories! I love Minnie!

My special custom-made Tokyo Disneyland's 25th Anniversary keychain

Disneyland's chopsticks, bowl and sake cup. I got into a chopstick frenzy in Japan, buying more than 10 pairs of Hello Kitty and Disney chopsticks! Mum asked if I'm worried about starving....keke

Minnie Mouse Sigg water bottle from Disneyland! Love this!

Minnie air-freshener, and Mickey and Minnie non-slip mats for 黑侠 (That's Roy's car :p)

Disneyland's sweets and snacks!

Limited edition diaries from Disneyland! Uhh....I've got 4 diaries for 2009 (the other 2 are Hello Kitty's)!

Disneyland's stationery. Well, I'm a student, I need stationery, don't I? :p

Minnie sling bag!

Tokyo's Disneyland 25th anniversary commemorative windbreaker! Cho got one too! :)

Mickey mouse spectacle case and wipe cloth, for Dad. I had initially thought the wipe cloth was a hanky, as this was displayed next to boxes of hankies! Dad said," why would they pack a spectacle case with hankies? Of course it comes with a wipe cloth!" Ya hor....:p

My Kimono Hello Kitty selection! From various souvenir stores in hotels

Big, medium and small purses, card-holder, luggage tag, mirror and sweets from the same range! From Sanrio Puroland. I had wanted to get the big purse from Isetan SG, but Lian told me to wait till my trip to Japan since they may be cheaper. I ended up coming back with the whole range! Kekeke!

Hello Kitty lanyards and handphone accessories, from Narita Airport and souvenir stores in hotels

The large Hello Kitty stuff toy on the left was the very last thing I bought in Japan, from a souvenir store in Narita Airport, right before we dashed to the boarding gate for our flight back :) The long Hello-Kitty thingy at the top is a Sony PSP case. I don't have a PSP...yet. But...what if I got one in future and I can't find a Hello Kitty casing to go with it? LOL! The little one on the far right is a casing for memory cards!

Hello Kitty windbreaker from Sanrio Puroland. I only bought 3 clothing during this trip. A Gap, Disneyland and Hello Kitty windbreaker/sweater.

Hello Kitty accessories and "amulets", from Sanrio Puroland

Aren't they cute?! The one on the left (in purple) is from the tea place next to the Otaru Musical Box Museum, while the red one is from Sanrio Puroland in Tokyo. Put together, I realised they are actually the same except for the facing of the handles, and the colours of course!

Hello Kitty chopsticks from hotel's souvenir store. Enough said. :p

Hello Kitty stationery from Sanrio Puroland. Again, enough said *chuckled*! (some are gifts for friends though!)

Hello Kitty sweets from Sanrio Puroland

There is this stall in Sanrio Puroland where we could choose various plates and put whatever letterings we want! This spelt out my name (Ka-Re-n) in ひらがな. It is supposed to be in カタガナ characters, but they do not have it there. Only ひらがな and English alpabets.

Collection of 招财猫 purses and dolls

招财猫 keychains and handphone accessory

This are my "secretly" bought lavender items from Farm Tomita (bath oil, lotion and hand cream)

Other lavender products

My collection of handcream! I got such a craze for them now! :p

Pretty angel musical box from Otaru Music Box Museum

Teddy bear musical box from Otaru Music Box Museum

Merry-go-round musical box from Otaru Music Box Museum. Pretty isn't it?!

Gap sweater for mum

Gap sweater and scarf for myself! :)

Adidas bag from Chitose Factory Outlet Mall

Saw this pretty pink, brandless haversack at a shop in the building next to Prince Hotel (can't remember the name of the building though). It's very ex, about S$80+! But I love it so much cos of the lovely pink and the special silk-like material.

Burberry Black Label sling bag for Roy (from Takashimaya in Shinjuku)

Burberry Black Label cardholder for Bro

I love this pink Burberry Blue Label casual bag!

Burberry Blue Label hangbag for moi!

Matching cardholder :)

Mum's Burberry Blue Label handbag

I spent a really big bomb in Japan, more than on any other holiday I had ever taken. It was mostly due to the appreciating yen, and the generally dear items in Japan. Nevertheless, I thought it was all worth it! :-)
